We are looking fortwoTemporary Staffing Recruitment Officers to join our developing Temporary Staffing Recruitment Team which supports candidates with their temporary staffing recruitment process. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week) with a permanent contract.
Our office is based in Basildon (Essex), with core business hours of Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, with hybrid working partly in our Basildon office and partly agile.
The successful candidates will provide a responsive and efficient recruitment administrative service to meet the needs of the current recruitment team, the NELFT service managers and candidates while ensuring a truly customer focused service is delivered to all. Additionally, they should have the ability to work in a demanding NHS environment, using own initiative, have effective time management skill and be able to organise workload effectively.
The post holder will advertise vacancies, support with short-listing, arrange interviews, undertake pre-employment checks, and liaise with senior colleagues to recruit successful applicants in a timely manner to the temporary staffing service in NELFT.
This post holder will provide a first point of contact to candidates and NELFT managers in offering guidance and support in temporary staffing recruitment.
The post holder will support in working with our current robust systems/processes to ensure effective recruitment, using key performance measures to monitor the stages of the recruitment process and time to hire.
Other main responsibilities of the post are:
• Daily use of Trac, Healthroster, other databases and online HR systems
• Responding to enquiries both over the phone and the inbox
• Creating and maintaining office systems
• Providing a first-class customer service
• Supporting managers and candidates with all temporary staffing recruitment needs
• Maintaining regular contact both verbally and via email with candidates about their recruitment process
• Ensure key performance indicators are met to meet recruitment timescales
• Input of new starters, leavers and assignment change information in line with payroll deadlines
Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
High Cost Area Supplement – Fringe
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £1,192 to a maximum of £2,011 p.a. pro rata for part time)
